Fall Season 2017

Parents, Coaches & Board Members,

Welcome to the start of the 2017 Fall Superliga Season. As we kick off our second Fall season as the East Providence Youth Soccer Association we’d like to express our gratitude to the parents, players, coaches and volunteers for a great first year.

In a very short time, we have grown to 21 competitive teams with a total of 248 rostered players. We are coming off a very successful Spring season that saw several teams make the Superliga playoffs with two teams winning their division championships. We also had teams place and win the RI Cup tournament.

Our Mighty Dragons and Academy programs continue to evolve and grow and is a great way to introduce our youngest players to the sport while also helping develop ball control skills for the 5 to 10 year olds. The week long summer camp was once again a great success and a lot of fun for the kids.

We currently have 42 volunteer coaches, nine executive board members and several subordinate board members and team managers. Most of our coaches come with extensive experience playing and coaching soccer. Our volunteers have tremendous passion and love for the sport and for the community that the EPYSA brings together.

Our success is a testament to the good that can be accomplished when good people come together to achieve a common goal.
