The East Providence Youth Soccer Association held their Annual General Meeting on October 18th where elections of board members are held annually.

At the meeting President Bob DaSilva announced that he would not be seeking reelection so that he could focus his energy on other activities in the City of East Providence.

In his President’s report DaSilva thanked all of the volunteers for coming together to make East Providence Youth Soccer a huge success. He also thanked Board Members Colleen Conaty and Jamie Calouro, who are also not seeking reelection, for their time and dedication to the founding and success of the EPYSA.

President DaSilva endorsed and nominated Vice President Mike Resendes to serve as President for the 2018/2019 session. The members present voted unanimously to elevate Mike to President. Outgoing President DaSilva will stay on as a coach and volunteer as well as an advisor to the board.

The new Board of Directors takes office on November 1st, 2018. The following persons were elected to the board of directors:
